It's taken me a while to settle on what software I should use to power this site. I'm more of Form and Function type of guy. I like to have control over the say things are stored and more options for content than "new post". It's taken me a while to get over the trade-off of functionality vs complexity. I've settled on a solution that is very simple and elegant at the cost of the functionality that I've grown accustom to. In the end this means I'll spend less time maintaining the site and more time using it and getting other things done, hopefully.
